— Company Now Eligible for Depository Services Through DTC —
Vancouver, BC – April 30, 2015 – InMed Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“InMed”) (CSE: IN; OTCQB: IMLFF), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that specializes in developing safer, more effective cannabis-based therapies, today announced it is now eligible for book-entry delivery and depository services of The Depository Trust Company (the “DTC”) to facilitate electronic settlement of transfers of its common shares in the United States. This electronic method of clearing securities speeds up the receipt of stock and cash, and thus accelerates the settlement process for investors.
“With our shares now trading electronically, a standard in today’s financial markets, the process of trading and exchanging our common stock by U.S investors is greatly simplified. Investors can instantly benefit from greater liquidity and faster execution speeds, lower costs and enhanced convenience”, stated Craig Schneider, InMed President and CEO.
The DTC is a subsidiary of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), and manages the electronic clearing and settlement of publicly traded companies. Securities that are eligible to be electronically cleared and settled through the DTC are considered “DTC eligible”.
